Hi, I’m Liz, an art teacher and home studio owner in Brentwood, MO. I have been drawing, writing, and creating since I was old enough to hold a crayon! I’m passionate about creative exploration and the role it plays in a young child’s life.

As a mom I have shared my love of wonder with my girls by giving them markers and watching them go- whether that’s coloring inside the box, outside the box, or on themselves! I’m endlessly delighted by their doodles, unique color combinations, and the stories they tell.

Creativity is play activity. Play is powerful, transformative, and just plain fun! According to Jean Piaget, “Play is the work of childhood.” Both creativity and play start with the thought “I wonder…” Finding out what happens next is the exciting bit!
